WASTE IN MOTION

An interactive installation by Rogier De Nijs.

Visitors can set this musical mountain of waste in motion and play it themselves, creating their own rhythms on the spot. The installation offers a hands-on way to engage with the theme of plastic pollution.

For this installation, plastic waste was collected and then sorted, after which it was given a new life in the form of an interactive audiovisual installation. Collaborations within this project generate new experiences and insights into our polluting society — a shift from a throwaway culture toward ideas for a more sustainable world.
